-Seminary
Students-
In 2002 A.M.O.
began offering
Seminary courses
to the
volunteers who
minister with us
in the favelas
and at A.M.O.'s
headquarters
church. The idea
behind this was
to provide
biblical studies
and training
that most
underprivileged
teens would
never have the
chance of
affording at a
traditional
Seminary or
Bible school.
In
addition to the
various seminary
courses studied
such as Bible
Analysis,
Panoramic Bible,
Bible History,
Homiletics,
etc., they also
have completed
Experiencing
God, The
Mind of Christ,
Master Life,
The
Disciple's Cross,
plus
participated in
studies in
The Wonderful
Spirit-Filled
Life,
Lord, Is it
Warfare- Teach
me to Stand,
Purpose
Driven Life,
Purpose
Driven Church,
Network
and Breaking
Free just to
name a few.
The students
have testified
that the courses
have been a
blessing in
their spiritual
walks and in
their
decision-making.
We here at
A.M.O. and
others are
witnesses to the
drastic changes
we’ve seen in
these young
lives who are
now committed to
serving Christ
and bringing
others into a
relationship
with Him.
Currently we
have seven
students and all
but one lives on
the A.M.O.
property and
help with the
maintenance and
upkeep of the
grounds. Most of
the students are
actively
involved in the
day-to-day
ministry work in
the favelas and
at A.M.O.'s
headquarters and
church teaching
bible classes to
adults, teens
and children,
evangelizing,
discipling,
assisting in
church planting,
visiting, and
serving. They
all work
together as a
team to share
the love of
Christ in all
the areas that
we minister in.
